Algarve Domain registration
There are two different types of registration that can be performed in Portugal.
- 1. Normal .com, .net, .org domain registration.
- 2. .pt registration (requires a registered Portuguese company)
Normal domains
To register a normal domain name we use our UK affiliate partners at 123-reg, these guys can register any url extension and are powered by the Internet giants at Pipex. All based in the UK we have been working with them for over 7 years.

PT Domains
Now this is an entirely different ball game, the first stage of any .pt url extension is registering a Portuguese company. You will then be contacted by DNS.pt who will provide you with a url that more often than not is completely unusable due to its length and the fact it is hyphenated (eg.http://www.hk-algarve-rental-management-lda.pt, this is actually a real domain name given to one of our clients we changed it to http://www.arm.pt).
